About the course: Managing Discipline

Do you want to be able to effectively prepare and implement a professional disciplinary process that is 'fair and reasonable'?
While setting up a procedure is inevitably the first step, proper implementation needs supervisory and management staff to be trained in both the day to day requirements and the reasons for their existence.

You will learn why a disciplinary procedure is necessary, and what factors should be considered when implementing the procedure.

We can show you the common do's and dont's in implementation, and how to avoid the consequences of a badly managed disciplinary process.

The result ? You will be able to effectively prepare for, and implement, a professional disciplinary procedure that is both fair and reasonable.

Course Aims

This course will enable delegates to gain a better understand of their role as a Supervisor, and how they may relate these skills in day to day running of the workplace.
The programme combines interactive and practical sessions which will enable the delegates to demonstrate the use of these skills and formulate action plans to take back in to the workplace.

Who Should Attend?

Newly appointed or soon to be appointed Supervisors who are looking for an introduction into the key principles of modern supervision practice.
