Training courses in Accounts and Finance

Getting a solid understanding of finance and how it works
Finance Training Courses from Activia

About Accounts and Finance training

Finance has always been an important part of business operation, but in the modern environment, it is increasing its reach into all areas, and all levels, of activity. This means that financial awareness is now essential for satisfactory performance: not just knowing the costs and sticking to budgets, but knowing why they are important and understanding the implications of decisions they make.

This means that organisations increasingly need managers, supervisors and employees with the necessary financial skills to contribute to their success. Successful mastery and implementation of these skills can make a real difference to the level of success in today's increasingly competitive business environment.

Why is Finance Training Important?

Effective management of accounts and finance requires an understanding of financial concepts, techniques and how to apply them. With better financial skills, not only will you have a better understanding of the financial implications of day-to-day business, but it also adds a new and essential dimension to your decision making.

Whether you're a business owner, a manager, a supervisor or employee with decision-making responsibilities, an understanding of different financial techniques and how to apply them within your company has several advantages, including better work performance, a stronger relationship with colleagues and clients, more effective decisions, and a better appreciation of how their department's performance affects the company's overall success. And, most importantly, if decision makers within an organisation have a good understanding of finance, they will be able to play a real part in helping the company to reach its business goals.

How Do Activia's Courses Help You?

Our courses are designed to help you gain an insight into organisational finance matters and understand the financial implications of your day-to-day decisions. We'll help you to master everything from key terminology to improving your company's financial performance and how to apply financial management techniques.

With Activia's workshops, the small classroom size means that you also have the opportunity to ask questions or discuss any problems you may be having with the trainer, who will be happy to assist you on the day.

And your training doesn't end when you leave the classroom. In order to help you put your new skills into practice and get the best results for your business, we help you develop a personal action plan, and provide you with specific exercises to help build your knowledge and confidence even further.
