How do I copy one data series to another?

Firstly, select the series on the first chart. Follow by clicking in the formula bar, select and copy the series formula. Click on the edge of the second chart to select the chart. Then click in the formula bar, paste and press enter.

How do I Add pictures to bars in Excel charts?

To add pictures in your bars you would simply, create a chart, go to the insert menu on your tool bar, selecting Object. Then click on clipart, decide what image you require and either double click on it or click on OK. Now that you are back in Excel select the picture and go to the edit menu and click on cut, alternatively press (Ctrl + X) on your key board, To get your picture to appear in the bar, just double-click on one of the bars and select Paste from the Edit menu alternatively press (Ctrl + V) on your keyboard.

How do I move the Legend on my chart?

To move the legend to a different location you must, right-click on the legend. Click Format Legend. Then click the Placement tab. From here you can choose the new location, Right, Left, Bottom, Corner, or Top. And lastly click on OK.

Is there a way in which I can add some text to an existing chart?

There certainly is. Open the View menu, select Toolbars and click on Drawing. Click the Text Box tool (The button which has an ‘A’ on it) and use your mouse to draw your text box. Finally type in the text you wish to use.

Are there any shortcuts to creating a chart in Microsoft Excel 97?

Yes! Once you have the data for your chart ready, select the data, and simply press F11.

How do I change the colors on my Excel chart?

You simply have to double-click on the chart, double click on one of the charts bars, select a new color from the menu and press enter!

How do I get information about clipart in Excel?

This is very simple. Click on Insert in the toolbar, Select picture, click on clipart, chose the Clip Art that you wish to use and click on it, Click on Clip properties, this will show you the file size and the name. If you ever want to use the file again record its name. Then use the Find feature that is located in the Edit menu in the toolbar to find the Clip Art. Then you simply click on the picture to insert it.

Then, on the Standard toolbar, click Office Links. And finally Click Analyze It with Excel. Excel automatically opens and displays your table in a worksheet.
