COURSE AIMS

We're really pleased with our new Minute Taking Made Easy course!

We take you through the role, the skills you need and how you can improve them. We show you how different styles of minutes suit different types of meetings, and what to do before, during and after a meeting.

There's lots of interactivity, with role play, questions, exercises, and discussion points.

There is also discussion of how to overcome some of the problems that arise in the role.

What's more, you get a workbook for your notes as you go along, and which you keep so you can refer back to it after the course.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Anyone who needs to take notes or minutes at meetings. The variety of people who need minute taking training is extremely wide, though likely candidates include secretaries, PAs and administrative assistants.

With larger classes, we run the final module as a role play, with several meetings being held during which delegates take the part of participants - and the minute taker.

With smaller classes, the final module is run as a workshop session where delegates can apply what they have learned to their own minutes, ask questions and discuss any problems they have, so they return from the course ready to put their new skills into action right away!

MORE INFORMATION FOR
MINUTE TAKING MADE EASY

General Information

All Activia minute taking training courses have been created, reviewed and developed to ensure up to date provision and constantly improving standards of content. Our Business Writing Skills training is interactive and classroom-based which maximises learning through the ability to ask questions and discuss specific issues.

Class Sizes

Maximum class size for Business Writing Skills courses is 10 delegates, which ensures that attendees get adequate time for personal attention from the instructor. At some of our centres, the maximum class size is 12 delegates.

Note that we never cancel our scheduled classes -- even if there are only one or two delegates -- so once you have booked, your place is assured.

For training at your offices, we can deliver classes of up to 15 delegates, though with bigger class sizes you must understand that there is less time for questions from delegates, and this may affect the quality of their experience.
