DURATION

This is a one-day training course structured into 9 modules

COURSE AIMS

This intensive, hands on, one-day workshop is designed to build the proficiency of touch typing, increasing speed and improving accuracy.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This course is designed for anyone who wants to improve their proficiency in the skill of touch typing to increase speed, accuracy and productivity. It works especially well for delegates who have completed Activia’s Touch Typing Introduction course or anyone who has undertaken any other touch typing training and want to refresh and update their skills.

SPECIAL NOTE: PRACTICE EXERCISES

The course is extremely hands-on and there is a great deal of practice involved. This ensures that by the end of the day, delegates will have both an understanding of what is required, and also their typing speed will have improved.

PRE-REQUISITES

NB: Delegates MUST have the basics of touch typing – that is they must be able to use the correct finger positioning on a QWERTY keyboard without looking at their fingers.

TOUCH TYPING INTERMEDIATE

General Information

All Activia touch typing training courses have been created, reviewed and developed to ensure up to date provision and constantly improving standards of content. Our Touch Typing training is interactive and classroom-based which maximises learning through the ability to ask questions and discuss specific issues.

Class Sizes

Maximum class size for Touch Typing courses is 10 delegates, which ensures that attendees get adequate time for personal attention from the instructor. At some of our centres, the maximum class size is 12 delegates.

Note that we never cancel our scheduled classes -- even if there are only one or two delegates -- so once you have booked, your place is assured.

For training at your offices, we can deliver classes of up to 15 delegates, though with bigger class sizes you must understand that there is less time for questions from delegates, and this may affect the quality of their experience.
