Staff Supervision To Get Results

Supervisors are at the sharp end of business. It's not exaggerating to say that without effective day-to-day supervision of teams, no company can hope to achieve its potential or reach its goals.

And when we say "Supervisors", we also mean those who are called "Team Leaders". Because although there can be differences between the two, that's often more due to the size and structure of the organisation, or even that different job titles are used for essentially the same job.

So our courses are suitable for both supervisors AND team leaders.

And our courses are proven to get results. We deliver regular public classes on Fundamental Skills, and Team Leadership, at all our centres. Or we can come to you.

If you want us to tailor a course to your needs, we'll do this at no additional charge.

With all these options, and great prices too, you will find exactly what you want with Activia.

GENERAL INFORMATION

What we do, and how we work, to make sure you get the most from the courses you attend
Making the Move

One of the hardest moves to accomplish is the transition from being a team member to the position of team leader or supervisor. Supervisors are key members of the management team, and have the closest contact with the people at the operational end of the organisation. Anyone who moves to a supervisory or line management role is no longer on equal terms with their peers and has to earn their respect, show authority and leadership in new ways, sometimes while needing to make unpopular decisions.

Any supervisor needs to cope with the problems and complexities of the supervisor's role, but also take advantage of the possibilities and potential, enabling them to lead by example and so gain the trust and respect of their team. This is where professional training can make a huge difference to the performance of any supervisor – and their team.

Free tools from Activia

You can also build your own Supervision & Teams course using our great, free Bespoke Course Creator to suit your own or your company project requirements, including just the subjects you want to learn.
