Microsoft Excel for Accounting: Introduction

A 1-Day Training Course

Course Content

A Specialist Introduction to Excel for Accounting

Here in one place is a great new course, specifically designed to introduce delegates to using Excel for accounting jobs. That includes people producing any kind of financial analysis or charting, as well as accounting professionals.

In 8 highly focused modules, it takes you from the basics of Functions and Formulas, through Charts and Formatting, to LOOKUP functions.

And we look at presenting your results with charts and formatting, as well as the nuts and bolts of analysing financial data.

Course Aims

This intensive, hands-on one-day training course is the ideal introduction to using Excel for accounting applications in the office.

It teaches the basics of what's needed to record, work with and display all types of financial data, without the time-wasting distraction of more general Excel courses which cover subjects that aren't directly relevant to an accounting function.

Who Should Attend

This course has been designed for anyone who uses Excel to record, analyse and present financial data, whether in an accounting department or a more general office environment.

Delegates do not need to be accountants but they must understand the basics of using Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.  A good level of numeracy is assumed.
