Course Aims

This intensive, hands-on one-day training course has been designed for existing users of Microsoft Visio 2010, 2013 or 2016 who want to increase their knowledge and productivity with the application. Delegates will learn how to create custom elements and a custom template, represent external data as a drawing, and share work with others.

Who Should Attend

The course is designed for people with an understanding of the basic workflow and the concept of end-to-end flowcharting. Delegates should be thoroughly conversant with the skills and concepts covered in the Introduction course.

Module 1
Customising Shapes and Stencils
Learning outcomes
Create custom shapes using drawing tools and shape operation commands. Store groups of shapes in customised stencils, to allow easy access to masters and options to edit the shapes within the stencil.

    Designing Styles and Templates
    Learning outcomes
    Design and customise bespoke styles and settings to standardise Visio drawings. Ensure diagrams conform to a corporate identify by creating sets of theme colours and customised templates.

    Learning outcomes
